Santos Dumont Medal of Honor for Ayrton Senna



On October, 1993, Ayrton Senna received the ‘Santos Dumont Medal of Honor’ from the Ministry of Aeronautics.

The distinction is awarded to civilians and military personnel for services provided to the Brazilian Air Force recognizing Senna’s partnership with the institution, which also presented the three-time World Champion with the title of honorary fighter pilot.
